Becoming an APHAA Member
Membership in APHAA is held by the individual, not the employing agency.
CAOs/CEOs of Alberta’s housing management bodies, senior leaders of non-profit housing agencies within the province, and members of senior management teams of the aforementioned are invited to join our professional association.
Membership entitles you to:
- Access to all information posted on our website, including our Members Area
- Access to the online APHAA Member Discussion Forum – a great place to share information, resources, policy templates and best practices with other housing leaders from across Alberta
- Reduced registration fees for conferences, workshops, webinars and education sessions
- Access to a network of experienced professionals to help you with the challenges you face each day, with opportunities to mentor/mentee and build capacities
- Updates on current issues and announcements affecting our housing industry
- Access to APHAA’s Foundations of Public Housing Modules – the perfect orientation and road map for new and emerging public and non-profit housing leaders
- Ability to apply for APHAA’s Bursary Programs, which offer members financial support to pursue accreditation, licensing, designations and other professional development
Membership Classifications
Membership classifications are determined by our Bylaws

Membership Fees
The current membership fee is $450.
(Fee is reduce by 50% after March 1 each year)
