The Membership Committee acts as a conduit between the Executive Committee and the members to inform on the following areas:
- Membership criteria and eligibility
- Member benefits and services
- Member recruitment and retention strategies
- Member data collection
- Membership engagement and marketing opportunities

Education Committee
The Education Committee oversees and informs APHAA’s Education Strategy, while ensuring that members have access to:
- Leadership and professional development opportunities to build capacity and excellence within Alberta’s public housing sector
- Conferences, seminars, workshops and webinars
- Education modules for new and emerging CAOs/housing leaders
- Continuing education related to APHAA’s 5 Pillars of Excellence
- A bursary program to support the pursuance of further education, designations and public housing certifications

Communications and Public Relations Committee
Our Communications and Public Relations Committee oversees the following:
- Production and distribution of the Association Newsletter The APHAA Leader
- Informing approaches to APHAA’s communications, including social media and the website
- Creating opportunities for members to share ideas, concerns and consult on issues with each other using mechanisms such as the Discussion Forum
- Overseeing the development and implementation of the association’s Communications Plan
